Ok. Firstly, i will definitely investigate and surf around to get a very clear picture of the piece of news that surfaced which conflicts with dotag's interest.

After getting quite a strong understanding of the situation, i will then decide on whether posting an article regarding this issue will result in an uproar or a flame war etc. If condition is rather grave(will affect dotasg's credibility or image), i will definitely consult any of the other mods or you to assess on the situation. If deemed "user-friendly", this great piece of information will not be left out for gossip/news-hungry-forumers.

It is DEFINITELY possible to phrase or bring about the thread of news which conflicts with dotasg's interest in a lighter and positive tone. Nonetheless, I will be extra careful in what i type or what im trying to bring across.





2) What is your first thought of actions when you see a post from a troublemaker (you will have power to edit, delete, move and close the thread)?

As usual, firstly, I will assess the situation, get a clearer picture before proceeding. From my own opinion(correct me if im wrong), different types of troublemaker will recieve different types of "treatment".

If I see a BMER OR SPARK OF A FLAME WAR, I will intervene to calm the situation, while not issuing any warning levels, but provide a stern yet gentle warning on my posts. (Never forget to quote our motto, "Make Love, Not War")

If I see RACIST POSTS OR VULGARITIES(serious) OR DELIBERATE FLAMING, I will issue a warning level, and bring across to anyone else who is involved to cooldown, and not repeat their mistake.

IF I see a REPEATED OFFENDER, i will issue another warning level and give a final warning before banning.

I avoid closing threads or editing their posts(unless in case of abusive language or pornographic materials),unless situations turns grave.

Thats roughly all, but i know if im given a chance to be a mod, all these will definitely be briefed to me. K good luck to myself and dotasg HUAT ZAI AH!!
